Beloved, welcome to the Month of February and let’s hear what The Lord is saying. On Thursday 29th January during a Sons Pastors Fellowship Meeting, The Lord said to me that the churches are going to grow and this is the time for visible growth. Therefore heaven has released the decree and we now must believe and move on by Faith. Let me share a quality that will usher us into unprecedented growth as a church and a family of churches.
2 Corinthians 12:12
” Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds.”
The signs of an apostle have often been declared to be signs, wonders and mighty deeds, but the first consideration from the writing of Paul is the word ‘perseverance’. An apostolic people must persevere what they go through in life and ministry.
To persevere means to persist, to hang on, hang in, hold on, be persistent and refuse to stop.
The Greek word is ‘Hupomonem’ is associated with hope and refers to the quality that does not surrender to circumstances or succumb under trial.
The Bible says, “Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father” (1 Thess. 1:3)
There are these two qualities that we need in this month of February:
1. You shall not surrender to circumstances
2. You shall not succumb under trial.
Beloved, apostle persevere and believers must equally persevere! Now that we have been praying and fasting, let us continue praying and fasting often because the prayer that births the move of God is the same prayer that sustains it.
The circumstances that we see are just prelude of a move of God as he aligns all things and bring them under his feet. Let us learn perseverance and persistence from our leaders and hold on as we pursue The Lord Jesus Christ.
Now this month is your Month of Wonders! Persevere and see wonders!
